University Medical Center, affiliated with the University of Nevada School of Medicine, is the premier teaching hospital in the state. Home to the state's only Level I Trauma Center and Burn Care Center, UMC also operates 11 Quick Care Centers which provide urgent and primary care throughout Clark County including Laughlin. UMC also serves as the primary clinical campus for the University of Nevada School of Medicine (UNSOM).
