SALARY: Per Academic Salary Schedule; max. 10 years experience
JOB DESCRIPTION:
(Note) Local Search: No reimbursement for travel expenses will be provided to local or out of area/out of state candidates.

1. Teach Art Appreciation and Art History in the primary format of distance education (online).
2. Oversee and supervise all online Art Appreciation sections.
3. Teach in the traditional classroom format; assignments could be multi-campus with the possibility of day, evening and/or weekend classes.
4. Develop syllabi and course materials; evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes; provide an excellent learning experience as well as student advisement, recruitment activities and program/curriculum development.
5. Participate in program/department meetings and activities and serve on department and college-wide committees.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master of Arts in Art History from a regionally accredited college or university; teaching experience in Art Appreciation and/or Art History; knowledge of WebCT and Web Course Tools, or willingness to learn.
