APPROXIMATE SALARY$10 - $14 per hr
LOCATION:
Temporary Aids perform simple, routine, manual/clerical tasks on a temporary, seasonal, or intermittent short-term basis.
With parental approval and under general supervision, the incumbent performs periodic Tobacco Compliance Checks at retail establishments statewide. Tasks include counting money used to purchase tobacco, which involves simple mathematical computations, completing reports, daily account sheets and sales receipts. May be required to appear in court to provide testimony. Current vacancies are located in Reno and Las Vegas. These are temporary part-time position's

To Qualify
Education and Experience
1)Six months of experience performing simple manual and/or clerical tasks.
Special Requirements
1)A pre-employment criminal history check and fingerprinting are required. Persons offered employment in this position will be required to pay for these items.
2)A State of Nevada/FBI background check will be required of the selected applicant.
3)These positions are temporary, part-time positions.
Additional Position Experience
1)Applicant must be able to obtain a government-issued photo identification.
2)Requires some travel, weekend work and work after school hours with parental approval.
3)Incumbent will be asked to report periodically on their school performance and parents advised so that their job is not adversely affecting school grades.
4)Applicant must be at least 15 years of age and enrolled in High School or Home School program at time of appointment and as a condition of continuing employment.
