Nevada Healthcare Growth
The Health and Resources Service Administration projects more than 703,000 new RN jobs will be
created in 2014, representing two-fifths of all new jobs in the healthcare industry. Job growth in
the nursing field is already having an impact in Nevada, where increased population and the demand for
expanded healthcare makes nursing the most in-demand profession in the healthcare industry, and in the
overall job market in total.
Projected Employment Growth
In Southern Nevada, job growth in the healthcare sector will outpace expansion of all other jobs.
