Master's degree in Business or closely-related field such as an MBA. Degree must be from a regionally accredited college or university.  &#x0D;

Coordination and consultations required include States included within the Sagebrush ecosystem. The focus is on restoration of Nevada?s sagebrush ecosystem. Duties require decisions that have direct and significant impact on program progress and resources. Coordination and communication with executives, organization officials and regulatory representatives of the cooperating agencies is also required for the purpose of negotiating an approach and solutions to major resource issues facing the sagebrush ecosystem and specifically the Great Basin of Nevada. This will also involve coordinating the developing policies and procedures necessary to operate the Nevada Partners for Conservation and Development. Work is performed independently within the framework of department policies and all applicable laws, regulations and statutory requirements; project management includes determining work priorities, standards, techniques and guidelines; when standards and techniques are not adequate or applicable, judgment and ingenuity must be exercised. &#x0D;

JOB DESCRIPTION:  &#x0D;
The person in this position is responsible for development and/or training and instruction of professional development courses related to Fire, Police, Security &amp; Emergency Services  &#x0D;
 &#x0D;
TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  &#x0D;
 &#x0D;
-Instruct in professional development course offerings using both traditional and online teaching methods  &#x0D;
 &#x0D;
-Assist in assessing training needs and in developing and delivering courses for in the areas of professional development  &#x0D;
 &#x0D;
-Work closely with Fire, Police, Security &amp; Emergency Services ? Workforce Specialist to develop and deliver effective customized professional development programs  &#x0D;
 &#x0D;
-Assist Workforce Specialist with identifying, developing and planning the content of professional development training programs in the above areas  &#x0D;
 &#x0D;
-Is committed to providing quality service that meets or exceeds the expectations of internal and external customers  &#x0D;
 &#x0D;
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  &#x0D;
QUALIFICATIONS:  &#x0D;
 &#x0D;
-Possession of an advanced degree in one of the above fields is highly desirable.  &#x0D;
 &#x0D;
-Four years experience teaching and training in professional development OR show sufficient knowledge and ability to demonstrate, explain, and instruct in professional development courses.  &#x0D;
 &#x0D;
-Emphasis in Human Resources Management, Management and Leadership, Organizational Management, Small Business Management, Entrepreneurship, and soft skills training. &#x0D;
KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES AND SKILLS  &#x0D;

-Knowledge of Fire, Police, Security or EMS entities  &#x0D;
 &#x0D;
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills  &#x0D;
